The Chief Executives Report on the Draft Naas Local Area Plan 2021 - 2027 and appendices are available to view in the Reports and Outcomes Section.

 

The Draft Naas Local Area Plan (LAP) 2021 - 2027 is now on public display and open for your submissions/observations.  The Draft Naas LAP comprises a written statement and maps and is accompanied by:
 

A Sustainable Planning and Infrastructure Assessment (SPIA). 
A Social Infrastructure Audit (SIA)
A Statement of Character (SoC) for the Naas Architectural Conservation Area
An Environmental Report on the likely significant effects on the environment
An Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening Report
A Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) Report

The Draft Naas LAP 2021 to 2027 and the accompanying documents can be viewed on this page in the Materials Section and at the Planning Office, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas during opening times of 9.30am–4.00pm, Monday to Friday (closed Bank Holiday Mondays).  In accordance with public health advice, appointments must be booked in advance at http://kildare.ie/countycouncil/OnlineBookingSystem/ and face coverings must be worn in public buildings.

Make a Submission/Observation
Submissions/Observations may be made on this page here at 'Make a Submission' or in writing to: C/O Senior Executive Officer, Planning Department, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare (Please mark envelope “Draft Naas Local Area Plan 2021–2027”)

Submissions/observations may be made before 4pm on Wednesday 21st of April 2021. Submissions/observations made within this period will be taken into consideration by the Elected Members before the making of the Naas Local Area Plan.
Submissions should include your name or where relevant the body/group represented, with contact details on a separate sheet to the content of your submission/observation as submissions will be published on the council’s website. The Chief Executive’s Report on submissions and observations received will include the names of those who made submissions or observations and will be published on the Kildare County Council website and here on Consult.

Children or groups or associations representing the interests of children are entitled to make submissions or observations on the draft LAP.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: 4pm Wednesday 21st April 2021.

 

 

Please make your submission by one medium only i.e. in hard copy or online. E-mail or faxed submissions will not be accepted.
