Alternative Routes:
Traffic approaching from the east is stopped at junction R415/L70055 Derrymullen. Traffic proceeds south on R415 to Lowtown, turns right (west) at Lowtown Bridge, follows Lowtown Road west through Robins Cross and Ballyteague/Allenwood Centre, turns right (north) past Ballyteague Stables and Woodview Nurseries, re-joining the L70055 Derrymullen at the western end of the closure. Estimated diversion: 4.7 km/8 minutes. Full signage layout on site.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
