Pursuant to Section 55 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended), Kildare County Council, being the Planning Authority for the County of Kildare, proposes additions to the Record of Protected Structures (RPS), included in the County Development Plan 2017-2023, as follows:
Two pyramid Mausolea, Maudlin’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas 31 & 33 Main Street, Leixlip, Kildare Castle Gatehouse, Kildare Town, New Abbey House, Gate Lodge and Demesne, Kilcullen, Thatched Cottage, Carnalway, Kilcullen, Yew Cottage, Mountrice, Monasterevin.
The particulars of the proposed additions to the Record of Protected Structures will be available for inspection from 8th July 2020 to 24th August 2020 (both dates inclusive)

Submissions Submissions or observations in respect of these proposed additions can be made in writing to: Veronica Cooke, Administrative Officer, Planning Department, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co Kildare or online on this page - see 'MAKE A SUBMISSION'.
Closing Date The closing date for receipt of submissions is 5pm, 24th August 2020.
Submissions made should include the full name and address of the person making the submission and submissions received outside of the public display period will not be considered. Your name will be included in the Chief Executives report on submissions received.
A copy of any submission or observation received will be forwarded to The Minister for Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht for her observations.
Submissions or observations received will be taken into consideration by the Council before deciding whether or not the proposed additions should be made.
