TAKING IN CHARGE OF ROADS & SERVICES – KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL

Pursuant to Section 180 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 (as amended) and in accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993, (as amended):

Notice is hereby given that Kildare County Council as the Roads Authority for County Kildare proposes to take in charge the roads, paths, public lights, open spaces, water supply system and both main foul and surface water sewerage systems and to declare the roads to be public roads in the housing estates listed hereunder, following the required statutory display and submissions procedures.

Maps showing the areas proposed to be taken in charge are available at the "Materials" tab or they can be inspected at the public counter in the Roads & Transportation Department (Level 4) at Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (except for public holidays) from 16/09/2022 to 14/10/2022 inclusive.

To view the maps in person at Áras Chill Dara, you will be required to make an appointment via the online system on our website or by calling 045 980200.

Objections or representations in relation to the proposed taking in charge should be made in writing before close of business on 28/10/2022. Any such objections or representations which are not withdrawn will be considered by the Council.

Objections or representations should be made via this consultation portal, or emailed to devcontrol@kildarecoco.ie , or posted to the Administrative Officer, Development Control Section, Kildare County Council, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare and marked Taking in Charge of “x” where “x” would be the ref. no. and name of the particular estate.
