Litir Chumhdaigh
I am a long term resident of Celbridge and have witnessed its enormous expansion. I believe it to be richly endowed with both natural and built heritage making it a most attractive location in which to live and work. The amenities afforded by Castletown, house and demesne, respond to the need for outdoor space and cultural and social activities. The Liffey enhances all - from scenic backdrop to leisure activities and is an essential riparian corridor for biodiversity.
Many of us in Celbridge have fought long to preserve and conserve what can never be replaced once destroyed. I welcome those aims and objectives of the current draft plan that acknowledge the vital nature of our inheritance and seek to ensure its future.
