I wish to object to this development plan as it is trying to stop all one off housing in all areas of Kildare. Kildare county council mention sustainable development in urban regions yet have granted permission for over 500 units to be built in the Clane area with insufficent infrastructure in addition it plans to restrict one off housing even in rural areas adjacent to large urban areas/developments. All Clane schools are currently at capacity in which some of the boys classes have to use class rooms in the girls school. I feel that this development plan is not in the best interest of sustainable development, if anything it is driving the cost of housing up and does not fit in the cohort of housing for all.
