The proposed Gallops Avenue is essentially the same road as the Naas Inner Relief Road. The part 8 planning for this road was democratically defeated in 2019. This road should be removed from the plan.

The road if constructed would contradict other parts of the plan which aim to improve the living environment for residents.

The road would run through a residential area and have adverse environmental and health impacts on the residents.

The road would not resolve the traffic issues in Naas. An outer orbital road is needed.
