north kildare is a black spot in county kildare for bad roads, bad bridges, too narrow, lack of proper width footpaths, lack of public parks, lack of public car parking areas.......... too many pre fab schools in 2022, reflects poorly on the county in 2022.............celbridge waiting for 3 new schools for close to 20 years.................3rd world................i thought we lived in first world.

celbridge needs extra liffey bridges and a by pass/ring road..........should have started same 20 to 30 years ago................celbridge town is a disaster for 20 to 30 years now...........kcc head office shows scant regard for all the residents in the area................plenty of plans and studies but no action to date..................trim co meath small town pop of about 8,000 to 10,000 has four river bridges.................compare and contrast with celbridge co kildare one narrow, not fit for purpose liffey bridge.............trim also has by pass, and a fire station, and a public pool, and an amenity site for rubbish.......................why the huge differences................

celbridge has stated 1000 new units in last year................what will that do for traffic, and school places, and buses and trains.............and local doctors and dentists................have we any plans to help the 25,000 who live in celbridge................and the extra 10,000 that will arrive in the next fe w   years...................... plans for up to 3000 new units.................could be 4,000 within the next 5 years...................... a disaster waiting to happen......................allaround celbridge we have poor infrastructure.............bad bridge up on hatch road over canal...............bad and dangerous junction on peamount road, where it meets  newcastle road............south dublin co co and kildare co co need to do works on this whole area.................... bad and dangerous bridges all over ardclough area..................... need works asap...................

confey leixlip canal bridge a joke for 20 years..........dangerous and not fit for purpose.......

not enough public car parks in main st leixlip..........town is on last legs re business and footfall does anybody care in kildare co co??? seemingly not................ do kcc own the old esb site on main st for 20 years now?? why is there not a car park in there to help the town???? a disgrace.......................

anybody from kildare co co care about the wonderful barn and connollys folly..........two fine places, but dieing of neglect.............shame on kcc and kildare failte............

catletown house celbridge and opw..............no front car park...........close to main st..........why???...............maynooth college has front car park on old campus, can be done with planting an real and proper planning....................why are opw  and kcc not working together to make castletown house a real jewel in kildare???..............a fun train for all should run from front gates to house every year for summer months...........seven days per week...........brightly coloured and would be an attraction in itself......................muckross house has car parks to front of super attraction.................killarney...................?? why not castletown house??.................... more pedestrain bridges required along main st celbridge to link old town with new town on lucan road................. close to supervalu................ am aware new one on the way at old bank of ireland, most welcome..................but not the removal of road spaces on ardclough rd, outside post office and outside bridge house...............three small slips way that presently help flows a little................ they must be kept in place until new bridges and by pass arirves in celbridge...................then maybe look at bunratty park set up on narrow bridge????....... 

maynooth town a bledin disaster from traffic point of view.............too may traffic lights.............not enough roundabouts................but most of all no by pass, two needed.............one on dunboyne side close to numerous schools all located on the same road??? would love to know why this was allowed???.............moyglare road to dunboyne road. kilcloon  area must get new road asap.....................same on strffan road side to old leixlip road, know there are bridges required, but work has not started despite numerous plans , and lots of yap yap..................no boots on the ground........no diggers in the fields............. maynooth university were allowed to remove a footbridge on kilcock road.........which was very safe for students and staff....................should be made put it back with new modern design, for health and safety reasons.......................

maynooth needs new links to galway motorway.now...............building on going in maynooth and celbridge, please show me the infrastructure that is coming with these new houses..............

big plans for confey any new links to old leixlip to maynooth road..........to help old hill from main st, into and out of confey.....................??? new road to run parellel to canal would be big help to big population in confey area...............confey road to blancherstown is brutal.........a very busy road to large shopping centre and college and hospital...............road was decent in the 1960s................still the same today.......................brutal............need to sit down with finglas co co and work out good roads in this whole area asap.........................

some small improvements could be made at various junctions in celbridge. would help flows a little....................junction at celbridge house pub to aghards road.............should be a roundabout junction...................same where this road later meets shakelton road..........bottle neck here for years....................could.should be improved................ if real by pass ever goes into celbridge from roundabout on maynooth rd to st wolstans , onwards to train station from there but not going tro abbey farm....................keep it out of town and out of housing estates.over to train station and onwards to old lucan road.tro new estate proposed..............?? celbridge would have decent ring road, the proposed new bridge... from abbey farm housing estate, to train station is a bridge selected on the back of a packet of fags pack.................too simple, too soft...........too easy, not capable of doing a real job, and should be put back on the boiler until u come up with real, meaningful plan that would take 60 per cent or more of the traffic out of celbridge town...................some suggestion the  present plan would only take 20 per cent of the traffic away from narrow bridge............if this is correct it is not enough for the cost and hassle...........

ploughing old ground, but new bridge in parish priests garden as proposed 30 years ago............defeated by one vote.............at full county council meeting.............plans were drawn up, funds were in place, that idea would have worked.......well............linking main st and maynooth road with lucan rd and newcastle road, tro shinkeen road................would still work........................?? if it got  fair hearing....................????..........and would be great for train station and the 3 new schools as proposed................any chance a re visit...............common sense says it should be put out there..................again........................if celbridge traffic is a priority................ consultants also suggested new parallel bridge on old bridge site, not touching old protected structure.............but running parellel to it..................making old bridge route out of town and new bridge the new route into town............should now get re visit??............. rps 2015 2016..........................get rid of old narrow footbridge near mill and new footpath on new proposed bridge..................new cycle lanes................hatch road would still have to be blocked off to help junctions........................ and with new footbridge coming from bank to abbey lodge might just work well.....................................?? over to the experts......................
