The Part 8 for the Proposed Sallins Grand Canal Greenway Link was on public display from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday for a period of 6 weeks from 10th January 2024 to 22nd February 2024 inclusive.

The submissions have been evaluated and a report was compiled by the Chief Executive for the Naas MD Elected Members of Kildare County Council.
Outcomes
The above Part 8 was approved by the members of the Naas Municipal District, at their meeting on 14 May 2024.
The Local Authority will carry out the proposed development subject to the following modification:
To accept the Part 8 but delaying the closure of the Kerdiffstown Ramp until management of traffic in the surrounding area is addressed.
