Proposed Online Payment Plan

A proposed online payment plan is a form completed by you on how you intend to address the arrears on your account within a reasonable period of time, without adversely affecting your financial circumstances. A payment plan calculator is provided for your convenience. The proposed payment plan is subject to the approval of the Councils Rents Team. The payment plan will be put in place initially for three months and must be strictly adhered to. (WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP YOUR PAYMENTS  YOU MAY LOSE YOUR HOME).

How to use the Payment Plan Calculator.

The Online Payment Plan calculator must be used to calculate how long it will take to pay off your arrears based on the figures you submit.*  You will need to enter the arrears on your account, your weekly rent and your proposed payment plan.

*The date the arrears will be cleared by will be subject to the payment plan being maintained, and no change made to the current rent amount. If your weekly rent changes you can submit a new payment plan.

What happens when I submit my form?

Once you complete your payment plan form, you will receive confirmation by email outlining if your proposed payment plan has been approved. If the plan has been approved, you will then pay the agreed Weekly Charge amount. If the plan requires a review, our Rents team will be in touch to discuss your situation with you in detail and arrange a more suitable payment plan.
