Celbridge & Environs ABTA – Non-Statutory Public Consultation

Kildare County Council is currently preparing the Celbridge & Environs Area Based Transport Assessment (ABTA) and have commissioned consultants, Transport Insights and Tobin Consulting Engineers for this purpose. The ABTA will determine the transport interventions required to improve existing traffic and transport conditions for all travel modes in Celbridge as well as support future growth of the area.

The purpose of this online consultation is to hear from the public, businesses and community groups, from people who live, work or shop within Celbridge. The feedback will assist in understanding current issues related to transport and obtain views on potential solutions.

Online Public Consultation

This non-statutory Public Consultation is to run from the Monday 19 October 2026 up until 5 pm on the Friday 27 November 2026. The survey may take around eight minutes to complete.

Drop In Event

As part of this round of Public Consultation, a drop-in event is to be held at Celbridge Library on Thursday 12 November 2026 from 1:30 to 6:30 pm. The consultant team will be on hand to discuss queries about the Celbridge & Environs ABTA.
