Kildare County Council, on behalf of Kildare Newbridge Municipal District Office, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road during the period between Tuesday, 13 June 2023 to Saturday, 30 September 2023 to facilitate the Maintenance of the road network as per Section 13 of the Roads Act 1993.

Eastbound
From the junction of L7007/L7008 (Springfield Cross) head towards Tullylost. At the junction of L7008/R414 (Tullylost Cross) turn right onto the R414 and head to Rathangan on the R414 until the junction of R414/R401. At the junction, turn right and head southbound on the R401 to finish the diversion at the junction of R401/L7007 (Thomastown Cross).
Westbound
From the junction of L7007/R401 (Thomastown Cross) head on the R401 towards Rathangan. In Rathangan at the junction of R401/R414 turn left onto R414, and head in a southbound direction to the junction of R414/L7008 (Tullylost Cross). At the junction turn left onto the L7008 in an eastbound direction finishing at the junction of L7008/L7007 (Springfield Cross)
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility & Open Spaces, Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or by clicking "make a submission" on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday,22 May 2023.
