Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention of:
Robertstown National School Public Realm Improvement Plan comprising of:
Reconstruction and widening of the footpath along the L7078 to Robertstown NS to promote safe active travel. The continuous footpath at the entrance to the school staff car park creates priority for vulnerable road users.
Installation of 2 no. traffic calming ramps either side of Robertstown NS to reduce vehicular speeds.
Installation of new public lighting along the L7078 past Robertstown NS.
New road surfacing to be laid past Robertstown NS and new surface water drainage channels.
School routes to school initiatives such as surface colouring, bollards and signage to be incorporated outside the school to enhance greater safety to vulnerable road users.
Drawings showing the proposed works will be available for inspection at the following locations from Tuesday 24th May 2022 to Tuesday 21st June 2022:
