PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES

SECTION 38 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1994

In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994,

Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention of:

The proposed installation of 2 no. new bus stops & associated ancillary works on the R402, Kilshanroe, Co. Kildare comprising of:

• The construction of 2.no bus stops (North & South Bound) comprising of boarding/alighting platforms, flag poles & bus stop road markings.
• Reconstruction of existing footpath on the northern side of the carriageway with a new 2 metre wide footpath.
• Reinstatement of carriageway line markings and all associated site works.

• Drawings showing the proposed works will be available for inspection at the following locations from Tuesday 30^th April to Friday 31^st May 2024:
