In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention for the:
Proposed Signal-Controlled Pedestrian Crossing and Improvement Works at Coláiste Lorcáin, Abbey Street, Castledermot, Co. Kildare comprising of:
- The provision of a signal-controlled pedestrian crossing (with push button units) works shall include; tactile paving, warning signage, school zone road markings, bollards, flashing school warning signs and the provision of an unmetered ESB supply and all associated site works.
Drawings showing the proposed works will be available for inspection at Kildare County Council, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas and Athy Municipal District Office from Tuesday 29 September 2026 to Friday 30 October 2026.
