Proposed bus stop enhancement works at six locations in County Kildare

PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES

SECTION 38 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1994

 

In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention for the:

     

  Proposed bus stop enhancement works at the following locations:

 

 

  • Bus Stop ID 11972, Kildare Train Station, Kildare, Co. Kildare (Northbound).

  • Bus Stop ID 11970, Rathbride Abbey, Kildare, Co. Kildare (Northbound).

  • Bus Stop ID 11950, Rathbride Abbey, Kildare, Co. Kildare (Southbound).

  • Bus Stop ID 105741, Rathangan, Rathangan, Co. Kildare (Eastbound).

  • Bus Stop ID 12228, Rathangan, Rathangan, Co. Kildare (Westbound).

  • Meadow Road, Kildare, Co. Kildare (Westbound).

Drawings showing the proposed works will be available for inspection at the following locations from Tuesday 27 October 2026 to Friday 27 November 2026

·         The offices of Kildare County Council, Level 4, Aras Chill Dara, Naas, Co. Kildare Monday – Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm,

Submissions or observations relating to the above-mentioned proposed works can be made online at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en
