With support from Our Rural Future Strategy led by the Department of Rural and Community Development, Castledermot is one of 26 towns that is developing a Town Centre First (TCF) Plan.
The TCF Plan will align with the Town Centre First Policy which aims to create town centres that function as viable, vibrant and attractive locations for people to live, work and visit, while also functioning as the service, social, cultural and recreational hub for the local community.
Town Centre First recognises that every town is unique. It lays the foundation for each town to develop, at a local level, their own plan- led path forward.
The Town Regeneration Team in Kildare County Council in collaboration with the Town Team invites you to complete the online community sentiment survey to share your thoughts and views on Castledermot.
The survey will remain open until 15th August 2025
