TAKING IN CHARGE OF ROADS & SERVICES – KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL

Pursuant to Section 180 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 (as amended) and in accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 (as amended):

Notice is hereby given that Kildare County Council as the Roads Authority for County Kildare proposes to take in charge the roads, paths, public lights, open spaces and surface water systems and to declare the roads to be public roads in the housing estate listed hereunder, following the required statutory display and submissions procedures:

Maps showing the areas proposed to be taken in charge can be viewed on this page at Materials or at the public counter in the Roads & Transportation Department (Level 4) at Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (except for public holidays) from Tuesday, 6th February 2024 to Wednesday, 6th March 2024 inclusive. 

To view the maps in person at Áras Chill Dara, you will be required to make an appointment at https://kildarecoco.ie/OnlineBookingSystem/ or by calling 045 980200.

Objections or representations in relation to this proposed taking in charge can be made through the Make a Submission tab above.

Written submissions can be made to the Administrative Officer, Development Control Section, Kildare County Council, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare.  Submissions should be marked Taking in Charge of “x” where “x” would be the ref. no. and name of the particular estate.

The latest date for receipt of submissions is 5.00 pm on Wednesday, 20th March 2024.
