In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 (as amended), Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to:
Proposed Junction Re-alignment and Safety Improvement incl. Associated Site Works at: Meeting Lane / R417, Athy, Co Kildare.
Realignment of the existing junction at Meeting Lane / R417.
Removal of 6 No. existing parking bays adjacent to junction.
Relocation of existing CCTV pole and camera.
Improved road markings, surfacing, road signage and tactile crossing points.
Drawings showing the proposed works will be available for inspection at the following locations from Tuesday, 4th November 2025toThursday, 4th December 2025

The public counter at Athy Municipal District Office, Stanhope St., Athy. Monday – Friday between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
