ROADS ACT 1993 – SECTION 73

EXTINGUISHMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY

AT HIGH BRIDGE ON THE GRAND CANAL, MONASTEREVIN

Notice is hereby given that Kildare County Council, in pursuance of Section 73 of the Roads Act, 1993, proposes to make an order extinguishing a public right of way for Vehicles at the High Bridge (L7049)  linking the townlands of Old Grange and Passlands, Monasterevin as shown on drawing No. KNMD/2023/ERW/01.          

Copies of a map showing the Public Right of Way to be extinguished may be inspected from 07/02/2023 to 07/03/2023 in the following locations.

  • Kildare County Council, Roads, Transportation & Public Safety, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 X77F

during their office hours i.e., 9:30 to 16.30. Monday to Friday

  • Monasterevin Library, Watermill Place, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare, W34 F6P6

Monday Closed

Tuesday 10.00am - 1.00pm; 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Wednesday 10.00am - 1.00pm

Thursday 1.30am - 5.00pm; 5.45pm - 8.00pm

Friday 10.00am - 1.00pm; 2.00pm - 5.00pm

Saturday 10.00am - 1.00pm; 2.00pm - 4.00pm

 

 The latest date for inspection of the map in person is Tuesday 07th March 2023.

Objections/Submissions or representations may be made directly through the "make a submission" tab to the right hand side

or in writing to the  A/Senior Executive Officer, Roads Transportation and Public Safety  Department, Level 4 Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 X77F 

or by email to roadssubmissions@kildarecoco.ie 

on or before 5.00 p.m. on 21st March 2023.

 

Any person making an objection or representation within the foregoing period may make a request, in writing to state their case at an oral hearing to be conducted by a person appointed by the said Council for that purpose.

 

The latest date for receipt of objections, representations or requests for an Oral Hearing is 5.00 p.m. on 21st March 2023.
