Kildare County Council, on behalf of John Cradock Ltd., gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road on Monday, 20th May 2024 to Friday, 24th May 2024 to facilitate the remedial works at Herberton Bridge, which forms part of the of the Barrow Blueway Project.

A diversion route shall be provided from R415 Allenwood junction via the R403, entering onto the junction of the R409 at Blackwood Business Park, proceeding onto the L7081 passing Mylerstown and ending at Kilmeague junction of the R415.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation and Public Safety Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or directly by clicking "make a submission" on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday 29 April 2024
