Kildare County Council, on behalf of Total Highway Maintenance LTD (THM), gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road on Saturday, 9 September 2023 and Saturday,16 September 2023 from 21:00 hrs – 10:00 hrs to facilitate Irish Rail repair works on the level crossing.

North bound: Junction of Kilmacredock Stud to Intersection with R449, turn left along R449 to intersection with R148, turn left along R148 to junction with L81206, this completes the diversion.
South bound, reverse of above. All to be clearly signposted as per Traffic Management Plan submitted.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces, Level 4, Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or by clicking "make a submission" on or before 5:00 p.m. on Friday, 25 August 2023.
