NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the DECISION of Kildare County Council to EXTEND the duration of the closure as detailed below of the following road in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994:

Westbound on the L5028
Take a right at the closure point onto the L50281-0
Continue for 1.3km until you reach the L5027-2 junction
Take a left onto the L5027-2
Continue for 1.3km until you reach the L1007
Take a left onto the L1007
Continue for 550m until you reach the L5028-1 junction where the diversion ends.
Road Closure extended until Wednesday16 December 2026.
The closure is required to facilitate works on behalf of Uisce Éireann for the Enfield Water Supply Scheme which necessitates the closure of the road.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
