Have Your Say on the Future of Newbridge Town Centre

Kildare County Council is inviting residents, businesses, visitors and other stakeholders to share their views on the future of Newbridge Town Centre.

The Newbridge Town Renewal Masterplan will help guide the future development of the town centre, including transport, public spaces, culture, heritage, economic development and placemaking projects.

The Masterplan seeks to develop a shared vision for the future of Newbridge and identify projects that can improve the town for residents, businesses, workers and visitors.

The Masterplan examines a range of topics including:

Town centre activity and land use
Public spaces and streets
Walking and cycling connections
Transport and accessibility
Heritage and local character
Future development opportunities

The overall aim is to support a more attractive, connected, accessible and vibrant town centre while encouraging sustainable growth and investment.

Why We Are Asking For Your Views

The draft Masterplan has been reviewed by Kildare County Council's Senior Management Team and Elected Members and is now being presented to the public for feedback.

Public consultation is an important part of the process. Your views will help identify local priorities, opportunities and challenges and will inform the preparation of the final Masterplan.

We are particularly interested in hearing:

What areas could be improved
What projects should be prioritised
How the town centre can be made more attractive and accessible
How Newbridge can develop while retaining its identity and character
