TAKING IN CHARGE OF ROADS & SERVICES – KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL
Pursuant to Section 180 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 (as amended) and in accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 (as amended):
Notice is hereby given that Kildare County Council as the Roads Authority for County Kildare intends to consider the taking in charge of the roads, paths, public lights, open spaces and surface water systems and to declare the roads to be public roads in the housing estate listed hereunder, following the required statutory display and submissions procedures:

Maps showing the areas proposed to be taken in charge can be viewed on this page at Materials or at the public counter in the Transportation, Mobility & Open Spaces Department (Level 4) at Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (except for public holidays) fromWednesday 18th March 2026 to Thursday 16th April 2026 inclusive.
Objections or representations in relation to this proposed taking in charge can be made through the Make a Submission tab above.
Written submissions can be made to the Administrative Officer, Development Control Section, Kildare County Council, Level 4, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare. Submissions should be marked Taking in Charge of “x” where “x” would be the ref. no. and name of the particular estate.
All representations and objections received will be included in a report which will be brought to the Municipal District meeting for their consideration before they make a final decision on the proposal.
The latest date for receipt of submissions is 5.00 pm on Thursday 30th April 2026.
